PicSell Pro vs Botika
Updated on
Choose Botika if you are a brand with a catalogue and you want your garment shown on a model, with a range of bodies and ethnicities, without a shoot. Choose PicSell Pro if you sell garments one at a time and photograph them on their own with a phone: it returns a studio photo of that same garment, no model, and automatically verifies the colour has not shifted from your original.
Both are fashion-specific, and that is where the similarity ends. Botika puts the garment on a generated body, and to do that the image of the garment HAS to change: a flat tee on a bed and that same tee filled out on a torso are not the same image. PicSell Pro does the opposite. The garment is never touched. Light, background and framing change, and an automatic judge compares the output against your original to tell you if the colour moved.

When to choose which
Choose Botika if you have a brand, a catalogue, and you want the garment shown on different bodies without booking production. Choose PicSell Pro if what you sell are specific garments — resale, secondhand, a small label — and what you need is for the photo you took on your bed to look professional without the garment changing: because when what arrives is not what was in the photo, what you lose is not a sale, it is your seller rating.
Frequently asked questions
Do Botika and PicSell Pro compete?
Less than it looks. Botika answers “I want my garment shown on a model”. PicSell Pro answers “I want the garment I am selling to look good and still be exactly this one”. If you sell resale or secondhand, the second question is yours and the first rarely comes up.
Why doesn't PicSell Pro offer model variety like Botika?
Because it is not the problem of the seller we build for. Someone listing a used garment on Vinted or Depop does not need a campaign with five bodies: they need that garment to look good and to arrive as shown. The on-model template exists, but it is not the centre of the product.
What does verifying the colour mean?
After generating, the system compares the output against your original photo and issues a verdict for that photo. If the colour does not hold, it tells you instead of handing the photo over as if nothing happened. Tools that put the garment on a model cannot do this, because their whole proposition requires the image to change.
Can I use both?
Yes, and for a small label it makes sense: PicSell Pro for the garment-alone photos that go to the catalogue and the marketplaces, Botika for campaign pieces with a model. Different costs solving different moments.
